Girls on Bikes acknowledges the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia, their diversity, histories and knowledge and their continuing connections to land, water and community. We pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and to Elders past, present and emerging.

LEARN TO RIDE PROGRAM

Become a participant and learn to ride today!

Girls on Bikes is open to migrant and refugee women living in Canberra who are 18 years and older with any level of English competency.

Taking part in this five week program will give you:

  • Your own bike, donated by the Canberra community

  • Your own helmet, donated by Trek

  • A life long skill that mobilises you and helps you to stay healthy

  • Friendships with the women and trainers who will be in your supportive group

Multiple cohorts start throughout the year, and all participants, trainers, and volunteers are female. If you or someone you know would like to become involved in the Learn to Ride Program, get in touch with us today.
