Mobilising and connecting migrant and refugee women in Canberra

Girls on Bikes is a free learn-to-ride program, which aims to mobilise and connect migrant and refugee women in the Canberra community

The program includes a free bike, helmet, and place in the five week Learn to Ride Program.  If you or any women you know would like to join the Girls on Bikes community and learn to ride, get in touch today!

Girls on Bikes is a not for profit organisation (ABN 50200303130). Our primary partner is IMB Bank, and we also receive support from Pedal Power ACT, the ACT Government, Trek Bicycles, the Canberra Environment Centre, Goodspeed Bicycle Company, YWCA Canberra, and members of the Canberra community.

There are many ways to get involved with Girls on Bikes, including donating your good quality disused bike, taking part in the program yourself, and volunteering your services to help us continue running this exciting initiative.

If you have a good quality disused bike, or know of friends and family who do, contact Girls on Bikes to donate your bike today!

Girls on Bikes run numerous free learn-to-ride programs throughout the year for migrant and refugee women. To join the program, contact us today.
